Maximilian began his musical career at the age of seven with guitar lessons, adding piano three years later. At the age of eleven, he authored his first composition, which he performed during a recital that same year. Maximilian has gone on to study dance, the cello, saxophone, and voice, along with performing in multiple musicals. In 2020, Maximilian was awarded Best Piano Solo at Blinn College Jazz Festival and has performed in multiple jazz competitions with his high school band. Besides Jazz, Maximilian has been devoted to electronic music since a young boy. Toby Fox and Kenji Yamamoto heavily influenced Maximilian's life with their work on Undertale and Metroid Prime, respectively.
Further, Max has studied composition with the talented Alex Berko, a resident composer for the Louisville Orchestra Creators Corp., for several years, developing skills in multiple- instrument, symphony pieces. In 2021, he journeyed into the incredible world of the digital audio workstation Ableton. He is drawn to the challenging nature of creating emotive, moving electronic music without words, such as that composed by Nobuo Eumatsu and Isao Tomita, along with eclectic sci-fi, funk and battle music for video games. In December 2022, Maximilian finished his first electronica album, "The Lost Continent," and published it on Spotify. Since that time, he has released 3 more albums and created an original score for the play “She Kills Monsters.” Daily, Maximilian continues to compose original musical works, hone his musical talents, and study digital composition.
