Monarch;Vertigo is a High Intensity Interactive Thriller Visual novel set in a town beyond our expectations.... In this story, you must save Nolan Reeves, the main character, from the mysterious creature Monarch Vertigo... Will you help Nolan succeed and escape Vertigo's wrath, or will you fall victim like the others murdered...?

Our take on the "Beyond Expectations" theme could be taken in many ways, one we believe in as a team is how we took advantage of the engine and overcame obstacles in the development process. We have taken the engine itself Beyond Expectations.  We see that there aren't many "Point and click" visual novels on RPG Maker (at least to our knowledge), so we wanted to take this limitation and use it to our advantage.

Also, we frankly went beyond our expectations because at first we had a team of around 8 people, then we went down to only 3... 

We were at a loss as to what to do... How would we make a game with no artist? How would we make our next game inspired by "Earthbound" or "Undertale"? Maybe that just wasn't in our paths...

Eventually, we came around to the idea of using real-life places as images for a visual novel. That's where our adventure as a team started.

If we end up reaching the goal of $500, we will not just stop making games after Monarch;Vertigo.... The next game we will finish will be "Aftozoi Wars" another game developed by Team Aftozoi. We have many plans for the future, so give us a chance!
